-2010 GCYFL Mandatory coaches training and background check for all Coaching staff will be held on August 7, 2010 @ The Canyon Club.
All head coaches and asst. coach will undergo mandatory background check conducted by local Live Scan vendor the cost is $30. Coaches must present valid form of identification. Training will include a session on hydration, head injuries presented by Dr. Andri. Coaches will receive instruction on proper helmet fitting this training will include a written test. Background check criteria is available for download see links to forms for more information.
-CPR Certification is Mandatory for All Head Coaches Knights chapter encourages its assistant coaches and board to be CPR certified. We will hold a CPR Course Wednesday July 14, 2010 Time/Location: 6:00 pm. Sunkist Elementary School. Instructor Sue Kory RN cost is $ 40.00.
